MM2 godly tier list: every godly, S to D

By MM2 Values TeamPublished 9 min read

There are 125 godlies with a value on our list, and the gap between the top and the bottom is bigger than most players realise. This tier list sorts every one of them into bands from live values, then adds the part a value list cannot: which ones are actually good to own, which ones move, and which are godly in name only. The bands recompute whenever the feed changes. The opinions are ours and we stand by them, tbh.

How we tier

The bands are pure value cutoffs, which keeps them honest and easy to check: S is 1,000 and up, A is 300 to 999, B is 100 to 299, C is 30 to 99, D is everything under 30. Demand gets its own section below, because a value tier and a "should I own this" tier are different questions. We dont weight the bands by how cool an item looks. You can do that part yourself.

S tier: 1,000 and up (13)

The four-figure godlies. These do not trade one for one with anything; they trade for stacks of A and B items, plus a chroma or two, and the owner usually wants overpay. Most of the game's event guns live here.

A tier: 300 to 999 (12)

Serious godlies that still change hands regularly. This is the band where a single item can be the whole other side of a trade. If you own one, you are a real trader now.

B tier: 100 to 299 (16)

The mid table. Good items with real value, easy to price, and the natural adds when someone is building a stack for an S. Demand varies a lot in this band, so check it.

C tier: 30 to 99 (16)

Where most active traders live. Cheap enough to move fast, valuable enough to matter. A stack of three or four of these is a normal offer for a B.

D tier: under 30 (68)

68 godlies under 30. Godly in origin, currency in practice. This is the tier you will own first and trade most. The ones with demand 2 or higher are the ones to hold; the rest are adds.

The trader's tier: godlies people actually want

Value says what an item is worth. Demand says whether anyone will give you that this week. These are the godlies with demand 5 or higher right now, which in MM2 is genuinely high. If you are holding one of these you can move it any day. If you are choosing between two godlies of similar value, take the one on this list.

Movers: godlies not marked Stable

Most of the list is Stable, so the handful that carry another tag are worth a look. Peaking and Overpaid for are good moments to sell, Underpaid for and Decreasing are either a bargain or a warning depending on demand, and Doing well means it is climbing. Read the item page before acting on any of these.

Starter tier: the first godly you should actually get

Not the coolest, the most useful. A first godly you can trade onward matters more than which knife you like the look of. These are the godlies between 15 and 45 with demand 2 or higher, which is about as much demand as the cheap end of the tier gets.

The full route from a pile of commons to one of these is in how to trade in MM2.

FAQ

What is the best godly in MM2?

By value, whatever tops the S tier above (it changes). By usefulness for an actual trader, a mid godly with demand 5 or 6 is often better to own than a four-figure one with demand 4, because you can move it any day of the week.

What is the cheapest godly in MM2?

There are sixty-odd godlies under 30 and a good number under 20. The cheapest ones are godly in name only for trading purposes. The D tier list above shows them; the ones with demand 2 or higher are the sensible first godly.

Is this tier list official?

No, and neither is anyone else's. The bands are ours, drawn from live values, and the commentary is our opinion from trading. The values themselves come from the community feed. Where the two disagree, trust the number.

Why is my godly in a lower tier than on another site?

Different sites use different value scales, so the same item lands in different bands. Ratios usually agree between lists even when the raw numbers do not. Pick one list and use it for both sides of a trade.
