Nova value

The trade value of Nova is 0.024. Among rare items with a price it ranks 112 of 128. On the full list it ranks 832 of 1,079. Set it against the median rare of 0.16 and it is 85% less than as much. Top of the tier is Cane Knife at 525, about thousands of times what you have here. This is bundle-tier. You will see it priced as 3 X (T1) Uncommon rather than by itself.

Nova has a source demand rating of 2/10 and a rarity rating of 1. These are community ratings, not measured sale times or guaranteed offers. Compare the actual items on both sides before accepting. Nova is marked "Stable" by the source list. This describes its current rating; it does not predict a future price. Its numeric value is modeled rather than an individually quoted price.

If you are putting an offer together, 3x Coal Gun 2022 (0.008 each), or 3x Candied Knife (0.008 each), or 8x Stickers Xmas 24 (0.003 each) all come out about even. On the list it sits between Vortex (0.024) and Hacker (0.024). Those are the two swaps people reach for when they do not have this one.

Rares come out of the standard boxes constantly, so supply is huge and values are tiny. Most of the tier is under 1. The odd exception, like Dungeon, sits way above the rest and is really its own thing.

Treat rares as small change. Filler that rounds a trade off, not something you build around. If a trade needs more than a couple of rares to balance, the trade is kinda not balanced. Add a legend instead.
