Gingercookie Gun value

Right now Gingercookie Gun goes for about 0.16. That is 66th of 128 priced rare items, and 647th of 1,033 items overall. The usual rare is worth 0.16. This sits about the same as that. Nothing in the rare tier beats Cane Knife at 525, which is 3,300 times this. Nobody trades this singly, so the value comes as a bundle: 4 X (T1) Rare.

Gingercookie Gun has a demand score of 2/10. Of the other rares, 12 score higher and 32 score lower.

These come to roughly the same total: 2x Snowflake Gun 23 (0.08 each), or 4x Sharkie Knife (0.04 each), or 5x Black (0.032 each). On the list it sits between Frosty (0.16) and Spearmint Knife (0.16). Those are the two swaps people reach for when they do not have this one.

Rares are what your inventory fills up with while you are trying to get something better. That is genuinely their main job.

Treat rares as small change. Filler that rounds a trade off, not something you build around. If a trade needs more than a couple of rares to balance, the trade is kinda not balanced. Add a legend instead.
