Vintage is the label for weapons from MM2's earliest days that were later retired: Ghost, Laser, Prince, Cowboy and a handful more. They were ordinary weapons at the time, plenty survived, and so the values stayed small. Every vintage on the list is under 10 right now.
Being old is not the same as being rare. These were common when they were around, and enough of them are still in inventories that the prices never took off.
Retired means you cannot get one any more. It does not mean many were destroyed. Most of them are still sitting in accounts from 2016.
People expect vintage to mean expensive because that is what it means everywhere else. In MM2 it mostly means old.
These are the weapons the game started with. That makes them interesting. It does not make them valuable.

The 10 priced vintage items span 3 to 10, a spread of roughly 3.3× from the cheapest to the most valuable, with the median sitting at 6. Tier 5 is the top bracket and Tier 1 the entry level.

How vintage trading works in MM2
Vintage trades are slow and collector driven. If you want one, ask around in the trade feed rather than waiting for an offer. If you have one, do not expect a queue. They are neat to own and not much use as currency.
Sell these to people who want them specifically. Anyone building a normal trade will just see a low number.
Do not hold a vintage expecting it to climb. It has had years to do that already.

What are the supreme vintage values in MM2?
The word covers two things. "Supreme" is also older slang for the very top of a tier, and for vintages that is Ghost at 10, followed by America at 8. This page is ranked by value, so those are always the first cards you see.
Do MM2 Values and Supreme Values agree on vintage prices?
Not always, and this page shows you where they part company. Each card carries both numbers and the percentage between them, so a vintage the two lists disagree about is obvious before you trade it rather than during the argument. Wide gaps almost always sit on items that hardly change hands.

What does stability mean for an MM2 vintage?
Stability is how steady the price has been. Stable and Doing well are safe to trade at listed value. Peaking and Overpaid for are short-term highs, good to trade out of. Recovering and Underpaid for can be smart pickups if you can hold for a while.
