Legendary items sit just under godly. Years ago a legend was a big deal. Now that the game has so many godlies, most legends are worth under 10 and plenty are under 1. A couple of event legends, the Latte pair for example, sit well above the rest.
Stack them. Nobody is trading one legend for one godly, but four or five decent legends for a cheap godly is a completely normal offer. Watch demand on the rest though. A legend with demand 1 can sit in your inventory for weeks.
