Valentine's drops are few enough that the whole set fits on one screen. That scarcity is real, but it is scarcity of variety rather than of supply.

When does the MM2 Valentine's event start?
Not running. The next one should start around February 13, 2027, in about 153 days. MM2 does not announce these far ahead, and the dates move: Valentine's has shifted by days or weeks between years. We publish an estimate from the last few years of start dates rather than a made-up exact date, and we update it the moment a real one is announced.
How many MM2 Valentine's items are there?
23 of them are on our value list, running from 2016 to 2026. 23 carry a price. The rest are items the community has never settled a value on, usually because they almost never trade.

Do Valentine's items go up in value after the event?
Usually, slowly. Supply stops the day the event ends and then only ever shrinks as people quit or trade away. What does not happen is the overnight jump people hope for. Look at the year table above: the difference between this year's drops and the ones from five years ago is the whole answer.
Should I hold or sell my Valentine's items?
If you opened a lot of them during the event, the worst time to sell is the week they drop, when everyone else has them too. If you are buying, that same week is the cheapest they will ever be. Beyond that it is your call, and no value list can make it for you.
